love it, love it, love it.
I recently ordered a bunch of LUSH products sort of on a whim.They all smell great, but this one smells great and cleans your face like no soap I've ever seen.I use prescription acne medication, and this stuff gets the grease and make-up off my face (unlike most gentle gleansers) without drying my skin (like every other bar of soap).It smells fantastic, lasts forever, and gets your skin to that perfect level of clean.I did not notice any change in my acne, however, as noted by other reviewers.

So Calming!
I have pretty average skin. I'm slightly oily in the T-zone and dryer on my cheeks, and I get small blemishes once in a while.

This soap is amazing. My skin has never looked better. My pores are smaller and zits are non-existant.

You can also use it as a spot treatment. Just rub a little on your finger and apply to the spot.

Fresh Farmacy can be drying, but I use moiturizer right after I wash my face and it's not a problem.

Over 40 and still oily
This little bar works wonders on oily, break-out prone skin in the T-zone. I'm in my 40's and still get those blemishes that I'd hoped to leave behind after my 20's. One-third through first bar of this product, no more breakouts.I'm converted!! Smell is absolutely heavenly...great for removing makeup. I use it morning and night with wonderful results.Skin is clean, clear.Just lather up hands and wash face.Rinses very clean. Follow on cheeks & neck with favorite moisturizer.Thought Lush had stopped making this little jewel and I just about freaked!

GREAT cleanser
this product i tried on a whim to try a new brand and it had alot of good reviews so i figured id give it a whirl..im in my early 20s and i hardly ever and i mean EVER have a clear day..not bad but always 1-3 pesky zits..i started to use this and didnt see immediate results but the smell is HEAVENLY it really relaxed me when i washed my face before i slept...and im about half way through my first bar and it has REALLY helped me ...i am sitting here clear as a bell (im using other products in combo)but i think this is a fabulous cleanser ...great smell...leaves your skin feeling clean but not dry and since i have ecsema and i live in the great white north with horrid winters thats so important i think it gives a great variety of dif ingrediants against acne that you dont normally get which makes it worth giving a shot...and hey if you use it for a while and it doesnt work use it on your arms and shoulders and you will be calmed throughout the day or night!

This product is unreal! I have moderately bad acne for someone in her 20s. This product has done for me what no prescription or ultra expensive professional product has done.

What I do is wet my face and my hands, then I rub my bar on my hands then put it on my face and rinse. Voila - a clean feeling that also leads to a clean and clear face.

I like the idea put forth by another reviewer about on-the-spot with this. I usually use other Lush products, but I'll give that a try.

Better bake your own....
I use a lot of the philosophy body washes and this one, well, it's a disapointment.If you've used their stuff before you know that they are the jelly belly of the soap world (translation: their products always smell just as good as the real thing). The pumpkin pie doesn't live up.It is very weak, almost not noticable.What little smell there is doesn't stay with you after you step out of the shower.As always though, the soap is exceptional.This is good to use if you are sensitive to strong perfumes.

Great Shampoo & Wash

Best ever!!
I've been selling AVON for over 10 years and I have to say that this is the best hand and body cream I've ever used(and I've tried so many samples that AVON has)!! This is so rich with the Shea Butter and little goes avery long way. Try it and you never go back to anything your using now. Shhhhh.... don't tell AVON i said that, hahahahaaha!!!

Wow! Pure luxury!
This is a really fantastic cream. I absolutely love the elegant scent and rich consistency of this cream.
I was given a sample of it, and I'm addicted. I plan to spend the money on a full size container as soon as the sample runs out. The 50 ml sample has lasted quite a while! I'm not worried about spending a little more than I normally would on the full size, since I know it will last a long time.
A little bit of this fabulous cream seems to go a long way, because it is so rich and luxurious. It's not greasy or oily and absorbs quickly when applied.
I use it as both a body cream and a hand cream and I've found that it works very well for both. It keeps my skin moisturized, which is great in cold weather since the indoor "dry heat" causes my skin to get very dry.
Once again, the smell is really wonderful. Not too strong, not "flowery," but a soft, feminine scent that makes me feel very special and pampered.

Not worth the hype
I've read a lot of reviews (on the LUSH site), saying how great of a product this is.To me, it's not at all what I expected or wanted.Almost every reviewer says what a nice, pleasant smell this has.. well they must have goofed on my batch because it smells nasty!I very faintly smell jasmine, but there's this weird medicinal, musty-type smell that's so potent, it squashes the pretty floral part of it.Also, it felt nice going on, but don't expect much softness or moisture to come of this - which I thought I'd see more of because of the cocoa butter.This was one of those things that you have to try because you're curious but end up regretting afterwards (at least for me!).Oh well!

Only powder I will use
I typically don't use body powders but this one is an exception.It is smooth, great smelling, and leaves skin feeling wonderful.Makes warm months more comfortable.

Mmmmm.
Smells like butter and sugar and jasmine. Yummy divine fragrance. Not the absolute silkiest bath powder i've ever used, (about 4 out of 5) but the fragrance and the fact that it does not cake up and show on your skin gets it all 5 stars. I love it! Definitely a luxurious treat. The cocoa butter nibs in the dusting powder are supposed to moisturize your skin, and the powder isn't as drying as some I've tried... but if you're wanting something that moisturizes, try one of Lush's body butter bars like King of Skin instead.

Smells great and leaves skin soft.
I love using this right out of the shower.You know how right after you shave your legs, lotion can sting?I use this instead and it soothes and softens.This is one of the first Lush products that I used, and it got me hooked.A container also lasts a really long time.

Overpowering smell
I usually love the Philosophy 3-in-1 line and have tried and/or bought many of their scents. As I said, I usually love them. This one, however, was disappointing to me. I like white chocolate and love hazelnut so them coming togther in my shower would be a good idea, right? Wrong! The scent is... I can't even begin to describe it except to say that I do not enjoy it at all. You can smell the chocolate and you can smell the hazelnut and yet, the end result is all a bit sickening to me. I ended up giving the rest of the bottle away after three or four showers.

Same as with all other Philosophy products of this type, the gel lasts a long time and performs well as a body wash but in my opinion is way too drying to hair (with or without a separate conditioner). So yes, I guess if you smell it and like it, go ahead and buy it as it does smell how it claims to, the product's got quality but the scent, contrary to the ones that came before and after it, didn't impress me at all.

I almost feel guilty

Good for die-hard chocoholics, though not the best...
I bought this body wash/shampoo/conditioner a little over a year ago when this was the only chocolate scent available and I really like it but honestly, either the Double Rich Cocoa or the Chocolate Ice Cream varieties now available are much better options.
As one previous reviewer noted, its duty as a shampoo is only so-so. Also, it may only be my experience but when I do get it to lather, it tends to leave my hair a little dry so yes, definitely stick with it as a body wash, in this department you really will find it does a great job.
So it's a good product as far as performance goes, the smell, however, wasn't all that for me. I completely raved over the Cinnamon Buns (it has amazing staying power and is true to scent) and most of the baked flavors but for chocolate, even though it kinda does smell like cookies, this isn't your best option. Go for the aforementioned Cocoa or Chocolate Ice Cream varieties. Now those are really chocolatey!

Heaven for Chocoholics!
This stuff is VERY chocolatey.My husband now likes to take his shower after I do, because the shower stall still smells like chocolate chip cookies afterward.I took one star off because this isn't the greatest shampoo in the world - there's very little lather.It's 5 stars as a shower gel and 3 stars as a shampoo.Use it only as a shower gel and the huge 16-oz. bottle will last a LONG time!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Heaven
Just as good as their Cinnamon Buns stuff--only more for the chocoholic in all of us. I love both, though I can't use either by itself without a conditioner on my type of hair, though hubby can. Brilliant stuff.
You can almost feel it really going to town on cleaning your skin and getting shot of that deep seated muck!

I LOVE this stuff!
It may seem expensive, but it's well worth it.After just TWO days of washing my face with this, I see a very noticable difference.My skin is clearing up and the ever-present chin pimples (ugh) are going away!

Invest in a couple of these.The smell takes a little getting used to, (don't be tempted to toss it), but the effects are little less than magic!

Does the job
I recieved a couple different soap bars after ordering some DREAM CREAM, and gave this a spin.I did 2 tests: makeup removal and afterworkout cleansing.

I'm a makeup artist, and don't wear a lot of makeup, but I'm in the middle of doing test shots for a short film.After applying large amounts of cake makeup to myself, I took COALFACE and washed.I never had to wash my face twice - this did the job well enough and will continue to buy these scraps for my makeup kit to give to the actors after shooting.It feels the same even after a long run: your skin has been toned and firmed, plus it's clean and smells better than some of LUSH's other facial products.Easiest little piece of glycerin I've ever laid my hands on.

Good for the job
I'm an exfoliant junkie; I've become addicted to the sensation of dead skin being sloughed away.I got a sample of coalface with my last order, and I was excited to try this new style of exfoliant.Now, I should note that, as an exfoliant afficionado, I have skin that is used to a little scrubbing.Coalface was not for me.

I felt the rough charcoal granules and some ingredient that burned my skin, my skin tingled and burned, and I was only able to exfoliate bits of my face due to the hard edges of the bar, which didn't align with my facial curves.After rinsing, my face felt sore and dry, and I had a breakout the next day.

My friend uses Coalface religiously, and it cleared up her skin and keeps it glowing and nice without the need for toner or prescription treatments.

So my conclusion is that this works for some people, but not for others.If you have regular acne, this is probably a great product for you.If you just need an exfoliant, try Angels on Bare Skin (or Ocean Salt if you want to splurge). ... Read more

Rolaids?...
I love Philosophy 3 in 1's but to me, this one smelled kinda sick, like Rolaids or Tums...

Another Philosophy disappointment!
Yuck Yuck Yuck!$16 wasted on another Philosophy product!This smells so cheap.It is awful if used as shampoo, makes your hair limp and dull!And the smell doesn't last a second out of the shower. (thank goodness!)

Too artificial
I kind of expected a "fresh strawberries and ice cream" kind of smell, but the scent is kind of... cheap I guess?Reminds me exactly of the strawberry syrup they use for shakes at fast food resturants.

Disappointing...

Scrubs up well!
I love Buffy the Backside Slayer, it makes thorough exfoliation (so important for smooth skin and good circulation) quick and easy.I find I can make a small bar last through 4 showers, and the results are well worth the price!

Very Mouisturizing !
I love the exfliolation and Buffy definately makes a good scrubby but it was just a tad too oily for me. My skin is combo, leaning towards the dry side once in a while. It's best for somebody who has REALLY dry skin I think, although the cocoa butter will rinse off if you give yourself a quick swipe with another soap afterwards.
