Good, but not Great
This product does not smell like a Berry Pie.It smells more like "Chocolate Raspberry" in my opinion.The scent in the bottle is fairly "plastic-y", but becomes less so out of the bottle.It is pleasant, but nothing to write home about.With the new "Mimosa", "Vanilla Cupcake", "Lavender Pound Cake", and "Crumb Berry Pie", I'm seriously wondering if Philosophy smells their own products.These new additions are in no way, shape or form worth the price for the product...and they absolutely do not smell like their namesakes.Product-wise, this one does make for a very good body-wash and shampoo.Philosophy seems to be labeling their new products as "shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath" instead of their old "shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel".The product does not create a good bubble bath...unless, of course, you'd like to waste half the bottle.I, however, am glad to see the removal of the "conditioner" part as their 3-in-1's absolutely do NOT moisturize hair.Whenever used as a shampoo, a separate conditioner is almost essential.My ultimate recommendation is that you skip this one and go for the "Cinnamon Buns", "Pumpkin Pie", "Spiced Apple Cider", "Egg Nog", "Señorita Margarita" or "Double Rich Hot Cocoa" variations.Those scents are worth the price. ... Amazing for dry winters
This product is an absolute lifesaver for people like me who have to live through the fierce cold and dry winters of Minnesota (and other places, I am sure).This year I bought the buffy bar for my backside, but am thrilled that it keeps ALL of my skin soft and un-itchy for several days before needing to use it again.I am much happier in my skin this winter.Like others have said before me, keep it out of the shower or it disappears too fast... it also makes the shower surface really slippery, so be careful!

What a genious product!
This is really extraordinary, it is super exfoliating and super moisturizing and lasts forever as long as you don't leave it in your shower.I adore this product to the tips of my soft silky toes!

I love Buffy so much... she can exfoliate me any day.
This is an amazing exfoliant. While it does get used up fast (my suggestion, borrowed from the lush.com forums is to keep it in a soap dish outside of the shower), it gets my skin to a point at which I am embarrassed to think about what it was like before. This is as good as it gets.

Great for those really dry patches
The only reason I give this 4 instead of 5 stars is because it melts really quickly in the shower and is kind of expensive per use.I break it into 4ths and take one piece in with me- otherwise the entire thing would turn to mush in a hot shower and be gone!

Buffy is pretty much a slab of cocoa butter with scrubby stuff in it, so heat melts it quickly.You have to use this in the shower so you can wash off the excess grease when you're done exfoliating... BUT, it'll take the "rough" out of even the most neglected skin!Only needs to be used once a week or so.And guys, this won't make you smell like a girl. ... Read more

One thing I have noticed about Lush products is that what you think might be one thing, is something completely different.I gave a friend a massage bar and she thought it was a bath bomb and couldn't understand why her tub was so greasy.I've been using Lush products since i first discovered the company in Australia in the late 90s and I love them to death!But make sure you kow what to do with what you are buying!Bubble bars crumble, massage bars are for massages, the bath melts are something totally different as well.But once you figure it out, you;ll never go back!

Bubble bars are not soap!! They are to be crumbled into your bath water to make bubbles. That is why her bar "crumbled". They are great to make lovely smelling, bubbly water to float around in.I heard this one is particularly good, so am ordering it now!

A GOOD IDEA THAT DIDN'T WORK

It looked pretty and smelled wonderful.My round bubble of French Kiss soap was run through with wide streaks of lavender(actually more purple than lavender) and there was a perky sprig of rosemary sprouting from the top.

Couldn't wait to take it to the tub.Unfortunately after perhaps four baths my bubble burst.The soap came completely apart - just crumbled.I don't know whether the lavender soap just could not stay with the white portion or what.Whatever the case, French Kiss Bubble Bar doesn't take well to water. ... I have the fragrance and the shampoo, bath and shower gel, and although I'm allergic to almost everything...this does not bother me. The fragrance is very light and not the type that hangs on and makes you feel sick...yet it lasts a long time.
